Motor Sailing Catamaran Is A Motor-sailing Boat The Best Or Worst Compromise?

Is a motor-sailing boat the best or worst compromise? - motor sailing catamaran

I am thinking of buying a motorcycle, boat, because it seems the best compromise (you can still make progress, but the wind dies), but someone told me that the worst of both worlds, no efficient motorboat or sailboat decent. Does anyone know the pros and cons of motor yachts, please?

  1. I see a lot of places Sir Ahab has only the sail from point A to point B. You need to get whales!

Mariners cars are not a sail or power boat, but not both. Engine, while candles requires a large amount of additional energy and therefore less fuel.

who has done it for quite some time before the invention of the diesel-electric.

ADDED admit the really cheap if you are slow just for sailing in strong wind and the engine is not required.

The downside is, unlike the large motor yachts freeboard or pilot houses, the boats must have a weighted keel and elegant background. That is, you hang up less space and probably a couple of interior walls posters.

But for us fahts Motorsailer Age is a bit like cooking draft card and we are looking forward to the cold salt water in his back all day azz wet weather of the past.

  2. The disadvantage of a ship's engine is that it is easy to navigate on the mainsail, which is almost invisible from the wheelhouse. As a motorboat greater wind resistance, using more fuel. Like most motor yachts Personally I go for a boat longer as effective as a ship's engine and perfectly fine, are suitable. Everything we do is wet when it rains or is rough.

  3. I thought the whole point of a sailing boat was used on the skill and ingenuity to get the best of crafts pitting themselves against the forces of nature.

Sticking with an engine seems a bit of an apology.

  6. Talk to people, more sales and boat owners. From the vial. You will get different opinions, but give different views. Go to the boats and how you want. I love cabins yachts best motor I've been.
I think it depends on what you want to have to do and how large a boat. You live on board or Weekending. Is it in the ocean or the ICW.
I think one of things on the boat motor in the cabin. SP Cruiser Iceland was interesting packages. I took a more one can do everything from the cockpit. Not only the design.

  7. The big advantage is that they do not really need a series of long oars. If you are in the deep blue and a storm is approaching and the wind is for what I'm talking about now bad.
