Has anyone made experience. My son is in the 8th Class in the fall. Football can skip this season, but it can make for a complete restoration of high school?

  1. I am 14 and have very little has spondylolisthesis spondylolysis of L5. The situation is serious, but you probably need surgery for his habit. When I asked my doctor if I had the surgery Sports Med was like "Oh No" and it was very positive about it. I was in the 8th Class, when I arrived and I missed the spring season of football, but I was only 12 weeks and I played again this autumn! But unfortunately, I have to go back and the patients outside the high school season again ... ensure that they continue to do the PT, even after he is cured .... it takes a couple of years streghthen to the end and I am confused and was negligent and not enough stretching. Do not pay attention to be too long!:)

  2. Your doctor (or physical therapist if your child has already been mentioned) would be the best person to talk about the length of the recovery of the state, but here is a little more information. Spondylolysis is a stress fracture interarticularis "pars. It is a process of thin bones in the middle between the top and bottom of the facet joints is (part of the vertebrae that connects the vertebrae together to connect the upper and the lower back spinal simplistically, as the body consider below the inner facet).

You said your son was a football player? This is a line may be blocked or not much? Fall and turn the two movements, which can result in a shear at the facet and the transfer of force the knee to cause the stress fracture. If the stress fracture can be severe enough spondyloslisthesis. This is the top before slipping the vortex over the vortex. In short, the 5th Lumbar vertebrae is his son slip from the bottom.

The minimum group size is usually initially treated conservatively with physiotherapy and medication. When conservative treatment fails, surgery is usually the next option. Your child will probably start on bed rest for a while and see how things go. If it is really minimal, I would hope that would be nice if the school, but I'm not familiar with the duration of treatment for surgical or conservative approach. I'm sorry, these are sciencey. Hope this helps and good luck to you and your child.

  3. I do not know if "Spondylolysis refers to specifically what I - Wikipedia as a stress fracture and I had a stress fracture in my L5, in my second year of the season, the school football so my experience that you may be able to help. I have been to throw the spear so that I was not capable of doing. After a stress fracture I was not able to play football diagnosed for two weeks, but after I ran out onto the practice (contact) and finally was able to most of the season to play. So I would say that your son will be assigned a fine.

There's really no way to treat a stress fracture of L5 no operation unless it rest until it heals with scar tissue and strengthen the muscles of the lower back with physical therapy. I found that I have no pain and no inhibition of performance in my entire life - and I played four years in college football, and more in the school.
